Children have the opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat at the Penske Touch-A-Truck day set for June 4 from 8 a.m. – Noon. Children of all ages can climb, sit and play on a variety of trucks on display on Main Street at McBee Avenue.

The free event will feature approximately 23 different vehicles including large trucks and heavy equipment from the City of Greenville Police and Fire departments, a Greenlink bus, a Greenville County School System school bus, commercial companies, industrial companies and rental companies.

While the children are playing on the trucks, adults are invited to stroll through the market. Saturdays through October 29, the market provides consumers with the opportunity to experience the country without leaving the city, featuring the finest in locally grown fresh produce, gourmet foods and colorful flowers. Along with providing fresh produce each week, the market offers free monthly educational events in the It’s More than Just a Market activities area. The area also features live acoustic music and cooking demonstrations performed by local restaurant chefs.
